Improvers Belly Dancing Classes

The improvers belly dancing classes and workshops are suitable for those who feel confident with basic moves and isolations and are looking to further develop and strengthen their technique and performance skills.

These classes are designed to take your belly dance technique to the next level with a focus on challenging travelling footwork with layers, three-quarter walking shimmies, and turns. You will add to your belly dance vocabulary with a focus on graceful travelling movements, become more technically accomplished by learning new footwork and layers, increase your musical knowledge to a variety of Middle Eastern music genres. You will also learn a more challenging belly dance choreography which you will then have the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.

This course is suitable for you if you have completed at least two or three of our 6-week beginners and general level belly dance courses or have the equivalent of three months regular progressive belly dance training at another dance school.
