Beginners Belly Dancing Classes London

Belly dancing classes in London are a fantastic form of graceful feminine expression and are also a low impact type of exercise toning your whole body.

In our beginners belly dancing courses you will learn the fundamentals of belly dance - isolations, pops, hip and upper body movement, body roll (camel), shimmies, arms decorations, turns and more. Each of our belly dance classes will consist of warm up, drills and techniques broken down in an easy to follow way, choreography combining what was covered in the class and finally a cool down and stretching. You will gradually develop strength in the core muscles which will help you execute the belly dancing movements with grace and precision.

Belly dancing classes are a great way to keep all your muscles in shape in a fun and enjoyable way.

What to wear in a Belly dancing class?

Soft comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Suggested outfit can include leggings and a tighter top of your choice. Loose clothing like tracksuits and baggy T-shirts are not suitable for this class. It is recommended to bring a scarf (if you don't have one, let us know as we sell the belly dance style ones too) to wrap around your hips to accentuate your movements. In terms of footwear, barefoot, jazz shoes or other light slipper are suitable choices for this dance style. Changing rooms are available to use before and after each of the classes.
